KHFI Impact

Since 2018, the Kansas Healthy Food Initiative has funded 79 projects in 47 counties totaling $5,710,440 in loans and grants.

These funded projects have:

  • Retained 509.5 jobs and created 213 new jobs;
  • Expanded or enhanced over 244,312 square feet of retail space;
  • Leveraged $16.32 M of additional funding going directly to these community-based projects; and
  • Served over 338,844 Kansas residents
